Once upon time, there lived a humble man named Fatih. He lived in his small house alone. He worked as a farmer in the rice field which was given by his parents after they died ten years ago. He was a diligent and kind person.

One day, when he worked in his rice field, there was something that made the water could not flow smoothly. So, he checked the water way. When he checked the way, he was surprised, it was the egg that made the water could not flow. But it was unusual egg. The colour of this egg was gold.

He looked for someone around his field, but noone in his field except himself. After that, he took the egg and brought it to his simple house. He put the egg on the nest and placed the nest on the table in his dining room.

The next day, he looked the egg shone bright and brighter. He was shocked and confused in a moment what would he do with the egg. Then he got a good idea to bring unusual egg to the king. After that, he brought the egg and went to the palace by walk. When he arrived in the palace gate, he met two guards. He told his purpose to the guards, but the guards did not believe him and did not allow him to get in the palace. Finally he went home sadly because he could not show this unusual egg to the king.

The next week,it was heard that the king had a bad dream in the palace. And the king needed the golden egg to refuse any disasters in his country. Then he made the contest to look for this golden egg. The king would give his position to the man who could find that golden egg and he would make her life in the palace happy if it was a woman who could find it.

After hearing the commander of the country announced the contest, Fatih went to the palace bringing the golden egg with him immediately. When he arrived in the palace and gave the golden egg, the king was so amazed and happy. He did not expect that someone would find it. After that, the king raised the egg as high as possible and andmiraclely when the egg get the sunlight, the egg shone brightly. It was brighter than the sunlight and enlight entire the palace.

And the end, Fatih became the next king and married to the king’s daughter . He was a was wise and kind king which was loved by his people and happy ever after.
